About Our 3D Printing Process and Materials
Materials: Fidgucate uses PLA filament to create our products. PLA is a lightweight and durable material. It is produced by fermenting plant starch, with corn, sugar cane, and sugar beets being the most common sources. Since these crops can be planted and harvested every year, their carbon cycle for raw materials is much shorter compared to oil-based synthetics. PLA is biodegradable and produced with less energy than conventional plastics. Choosing PLA means you are supporting a more sustainable product.
PLA is also safe to handle and lightweight for everyday use. It holds detail well, making it ideal for our designs. We source quality filament to ensure consistent results across all our products. 3D Printing: This is a 3D printed, hand-crafted item made in the United States of America. The designer of each product has licensed and authorized Fidgucate to produce and print and sell the product. Due to the nature of 3D printing, there may be slight imperfections, minor layer lines, or variations in color.
Please handle with care. This product is not designed for food or beverage use. Keep it away from extreme heat like direct sunlight or hot cars to avoid warping. Small parts may pose a choking hazard to young children. Adult supervision is suggested for young children or children prone to put items in their mouth.
